Mold/Mildew

Clothes: Use a stiff brush to whisk away the black dots which are loose spores—but do this outside in case spores spread.

Plastic shower liners: Wipe the shower liner down with diluted Clorox® Concentrated Regular-Bleach, and rinse thoroughly.

Clothes: Soak whites in a gallon of cool water for 5-10 minutes with ¼ cup Clorox® Concentrated Regular-Bleach. Or, if there are only a few mildew spots, pretreat with Clorox® Bleach Pen® Gel. For colors, wet with cool water, rub Clorox 2® product into the mildew, and let sit for 5-10 minutes. Then wash on the hottest recommended water setting along with your favorite detergent and Clorox Regular-Bleach® for whites or Clorox 2® product for colors. Repeat as needed.

Plastic shower liners: First, fill your washing machine with warm water. Add 1 cup Clorox® Concentrated Regular-Bleach, add shower liner, and wash on the gentlest short cycle. Then hang the liner in your shower, wiping down with a towel to dry thoroughly.
